Hauda armchair was designed for larger spaces in home or public space. Its neutral yet very characteristic form was inspired by large piles of sand, coal or dust gathered near power plants or production companies. They are present in our landscape yet barely noticable. The same goal was guiding Hauda design process. To let it stay on the second plan. It can become a perfect complement to many interiors while never becoming a dominant object.
Form of this armchair was developped to allow its production with simpliest carpentry machines and tools. Lack of curves and simple mortise-tenon joints allow its production on almost every carpentry shop.
